Review of Opinion Platform Mingle
Who are Mingle?
Mingle is a survey company that bills itself as 'The Opinion Platform for the UK and Europe' and is the online branch of Respondi AG, a leading establishment in the field of market research. Mingle has around 300,000 members across Europe and is regulated under strict professional guidelines overseen by ESOMAR, the essential organisation for encouraging, advancing and elevating market research worldwide. ESOMAR have been operating since 1948 and promote ethical procedures and practice throughout the market research and opinion forming industries.
How does Mingle Work?
Mingle rules are simple: members are invited to join the organisation free of charge and then selected to complete either online surveys or mobile phone questionnaires. Before taking part in any of these exercises, Mingle will let its members know approximately how long the session will last and what the expected time of participation will be. Questionnaires are directed towards individual members based on specific criteria, so not all members will be eligible to take part in all surveys, and neither is there any obligation to participate. Mingle also promise full confidentiality and will not pass on any details to third parties.
Join the Mingle Community
Mingle offers its members compensatory rewards for participating in surveys and questionnaires. Rewards come in the form of points, which must be redeemed within a certain time-frame, and traded for either cash or a shopping voucher. In addition, Mingle will donate a matching amount to charity every time a member redeems rewards. Prize draws and bonus points are also offered on an ad hoc basis.
