When there are No Surveys be Creative and Do Simple Online Tasks for Cash
Hi all,
I’m doing well this week because I haven’t kept you all waiting for as long as usual. I’ve been on time with everything including making sure I sit down to drink on time; gin and Stoney Tangawizi (ginger beer). As I write I am drinking and watching the Africa Cup of Nations final between Burkino Faso and Nigeria. You can tell that I’m still in Africa huh? Anyway, just a quick word about what you can do online when there are not many surveys.
You will notice that there are quite a few new and very interesting ways to earn a little cash when you’re not busy and they’re not time intensive either. No, they won’t make you rich overnight but they’ll keep you in the mix so you’ll be seeing when the new surveys come out. You can do tasks as simple as flagging images that contain adult content, search online for committee information and categorizing daily deals correctly. The aforementioned tasks are live as we speak so give them a try.
You will notice that there are quite large differences between the pay out amounts between surveys but I’m sure that is only to make sure there as many surveys from various different survey panels rather than only listing the top paying surveys which could see no surveys available for days at a time. I always browse surveys daily and pick a few at a time which puts me in the position to see the larger paying surveys when they arrive.
As a matter of interest I have completed two surveys this evening based on whether I feel that the recent UK immigration rules change were fair or not. The survey specially asked my opinion of the new income threshold of £18’600 required for families to sponsor their families to come to the UK. This is a tough one because I understand that those who are sponsored to come into the UK have no recourse to public funds anyway until they are granted their indefinite leave to remain or ILR. You can earn more than £18’600 and be more broke than those earning below if your lifestyle is excessive, that is living beyond your means (common in the UK). Having some kind of savings should be encouraged but family is all important and cannot be overlooked by mere point scoring.
I have also noticed an increase in the number of surveys asking about bathroom cosmetics such as shower gels, bubble bath and soaps. One survey was interested to know if I am swayed to buy a shower gel on its name alone. Well, I like nice smelling shower gels, yes. But, I find little interest in a shower gel or bubble bath with a name such as “Tea tree extract with ying yang, ginseng and raspberry essence”. After all, I want to bathe in the stuff, not drink it!
Anyway, it’s my time to go to sleep now so…
Later
PS - Nigeria won the Africa Cup of Nations 1-0
