Now Owning a Smartphone or Tablet Has Really Opened Up Your Survey Options

Hi all,

Hope you had a great weekend. I’ve been steadily drinking and eating my way through mine. Yesterday I went to my friend’s daughter’s birthday party which was just an excuse for the adults to drink. I thought of complaining to him but then I forgot and then all the children went to bed and the real reason for the party began. The adults drank until way after midnight when they proceeded to a night club until dawn (except me, who went home soberly and did a survey before bed – yeah right). Last week was a good week for new survey opportunities, especially if you own a smartphone or a tablet. Now, you’ll remember some time back I reported that you could do surveys on some smartphones if they were java enabled. Well, many of us struggled to get into the survey on a smartphone.

Survey Application for Apple and Android

In keeping with responding to demand there has recently been an increasing number of applications for the Apple and Android platforms which also include a range of Free Gift Card and Offers applications. It’s a different way to think about mobile working but all devices are beginning to merge so make use of the technology and forward thinking app developers. I am in the midst of trying some of them out so I’ll let you know next week if they’re any good but they look interesting so far.

It would be a great idea for you to start looking around for mobile survey opportunities now because the app developers will be wearing their little fingers off to bring new and more in-demand survey and poll apps for more and more platforms. Oh, I forgot to tell you that I’ve now invested in the Google Nexus 7 after buying one for my wife over Christmas and falling in love with it. Not my wife, the nexus 7. Just joking, she’s a diamond but miles away in Kenya where I just came back from last Sunday. Anyway, I’ll be using the pure android device to test all of the mobile survey apps as well as my HTC Sensation for smartphone compatibility. The first one I tried to load was not compatible with the Nexus but I’m sure this will change over time.

Social Media Best Way to learn of New Opportunities

It has long been evident that searching through reliable user generated content is one of the best ways to review a product or service including survey options. When I say user generated I mean the content that is really generated or favoured by users such as utilising Google+ to link with friends, colleagues and family who have no reason to refer you to a survey opportunity or other product other than to help you. Facebook and twitter can also help with your research so long as you are not one to friend just about anybody so you can look so well connected (but are not). A good tip is to try and avoid blog or post titles that sound too professional because they are often contrived. You can read them just to confirm this but try not to be sold to but rather, find your own options. Just look for human input as much as possible, that’s all.

Anyway, I need to output now so I’ll say goodnight (I know, doesn’t sound too good but hey, that’s Jay for you)
